Mike knew that his future would be in medicine as he was being trained as a US Navy Hospital Corpsman. Following advanced training in Field/Combat medicine and Neuropsychiatry he was hooked.
After the Navy, he attended the University of Florida where he majored in Microbiology and subsequently attended the UF Physician Assistant Program where he was elected as the Student Representative to Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. He graduated with Honors in 1984.
Since that time he has developed a well-rounded repertoire of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Pain Management.
